Why it matters
Moss lifts shingles, traps water and shortens the life of a roof, and it is a common problem across King and Snohomish counties where it stays damp much of the year. Removing it early is far cheaper than replacing shingles.
High-pressure washing can strip granules from shingles and force water under them, so we do not use it on roofs. Gentle brushing and a soft-wash treatment clean thoroughly without that risk.
